SCOUT POST
In 1981 the Government announced that charities could deliver Christmas cards during the period November 25th to January 1st and make a small charge for this service. The four Scout districts in Wirral decided to take advantage of this announcement and started up the Wirral Scout & Guide Charity Christmas Post.
As well as raising funds for the Group this scheme also raises money for other local charities.
Wirral Scout and Guide Charity Christmas Post Stamps will be available soon. The scheme operates throughout the whole of the Wirral excluding Ellesmere Port, Little Sutton and Great Sutton.
