JOINT TROOP CAMP

4TH SCOUTS / 64TH SEA SCOUTS / 2ND SCOUTS

 

  

 

Date : 25th - 27th June 2004

Place : Hadlow Field Camp Site, Williston, Wirral.

Purpose : To help Scouts gain their Outdoor Challenge and Nights Away Badges and to give them the chance to meet other Scouts and take part in different activities.

The weekend consisted mainly of basic Scouting/Camping skills. The Scouts cooked two of their own meals using gas stoves and open fires using food provided by us. Other activities included a night hike, wide game, pioneering, camp fire and games.

The Sunday of the camp everyone was transported to the boat house in Birkenhead for an afternoon of activities on the water.
